The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is a very fine sportsmachine. Big engine, long bonnet and gullwing-doors. But still, it won’t sell all by itself, not even in supercar-hungry China. Benz therefore hired two big guns for an event at the otherwise very local Hubei Auto Show in the great city of Wuhan in Hubei Province. If those don’t sell the SLS, well, what does?

Because it is almost Christmas we have a very sexy Chinese girl with one of the wildest cars around today; the mighty Carlsson C25. The German tuner debuted in China at the Guangzhou Auto Show last month to tap into the extremely hot Chinese market for tuning and customizing.
All famous German tuners are opening shop in China and their cars are selling like hot rice. When in China Carlsson fortunately had some time for a nice photoshoot, guess it was for promotion. Girl wears a plastic uniform and boots perfect to go out fishing. Anyhow and way, here she is:

Still remember the famous viral from 2008 where a Shanghai Lady towed a tow truck with a Chevrolet Captiva? Yez that was funny but very staged. This time though it is for real. A woman in Liaoning Province gets very angry when police wants to tow her Buick Excelle away.
The car is already on the tow truck but the woman gets in and manages to get off (Excelle is FWD). It is funny to see how policemen get totally confused. They try to stop her but fail miserably, the woman simply drives away. Great work, good woman, but the law will get her anyway… Movie time:

In august we brought you a sensational story about a Volkswagen dealer in Daqing who used naked girls to get car buyers interested. Today we have another one, a Toyota dealer in Shanghai who hired one very naked girl to sell some Camry’s. Not sure how many he sold but his building was packed with ‘journalist’ and ‘car buyers’ in no time. Girl seems very cool.

A sweet old pic from China. It is April 2003, Changchun Auto Show in Changchun, Jilin Province. Changchun is the home-base of First Auto Works (FAW), the owner of the famous Hongqi-brand.
The pretty girls are hanging ’round a Hongqi CA7202E3-L convertible parade car, based on the CA7202E3 Shijixing (Century Star). The CA7202E3 was based on the Audi 100 that was made in China by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture.

The Nanning International Auto Show in the great city of Nanning in Guizhou province is usually a very low key affair where locals can have a look at the latest Geely SUV. This year however, things are very different. The Nanning show is suddenly all over China’s automotive websites.
All thanks to One Woman; Chinese model/tv personality/B-movie star/singer Gan Lulu (干露露, NSFW), showing off her brand-new headlights in all their glory. She checked out an Aston Martin and walked over the show floor accompanied by bodyguards wearing big white helmets. What, indeed, a woman this is.
