This ain’t some fuzzy dealer special or an after-market screw up, this is a real factory-special edition. General Motors hasn’t marketed these trucks before because it wanted to be seen as a responsible green company by the Chinese government, and selling gas guzzling pickup trucks didn’t fit that image. For exactly the same reason, Ford has never sold the F-Series officially, although they too have plans to make a move.

This is the new Chevrolet Cruze hatchback, it will debut on Friday on the Guangzhou Auto Show in China and it will be launched on the Chinese car market at year’s end. The Cruze hatchback is basically the same car as the North American Cruze, bar for minor details in bumpers and lights.
