A righ-hand drive Great Wall Haval H5 SUV has been spotted testing in India. This however doesn’t mean Great Wall will officially enter the Indian car market. According to Indianautosblog.com the H5 will be imported by International Cars & Motor Ltd (ICML) and sold under their own brand name. ICML currently manufactures the Rhino, a small ‘n cheap MPV, for the Indian market.

The Greatwall Haval H6 was listed on the Chinese car market in August last year. Only available transmission is a 5-speed manual. That however will change in April when Greatwall launches not just one but two automatic gearboxes for the H6: a 4-speed and a 6-speed, both will debut at the Beijing Auto Show. Via: Autohome.

Greatwall had applied for patent on the IF, a sporty sportback that debuted as a concept at the Shanghai Auto Show in April. The production car will likely debut at the April 2012 Beijing Auto Show.

The Greatwall Haval M2 small SUV will get a facelift that makes it much more in ya face. The word ‘Haval’ in big Range Rover-like letters on the bonnet and a load of extra chrome in the grille.

The Greatwall Haval M4 crossover debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show in April, it will be listed in the second half of 2012. The Haval M4 is based on the Greatwall Tengyi C20R that will be listed in September.

Power comes from a 1.3 with 92hp and 118nm or a 1.5 with 106hp and 138nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic. Price will start around 90.000 yuan.

The Greatwall Haval H6 SUV has been officially listed on the China car market. Price starts at 95.800 yuan and ends at 148.000 yuan.

There are two engines: a 2.0 with 133hp and 186nm and a 2.0 turbo with 150hp and 310nm. Transmission: 5-speed manual, an automatic will follow later. Drivetrain: FWD. Size:4640/1825/1690, wheelbase is 2680. Main competition: Roewe W5, BYD S6 and Chert Tiggo.

The new Greatwall Haval H6 will finally be listed on the Chinese market on August 26. The H6 will be made in Greatwall’s new factory in Tianjin. Price will start around 100.000 yuan and end around 130.000 yuan.

Engines: 1.5 turbo, 2.0 and 2.4. There will be a 2.0 turbodiesel for export. Greatwall is also working on a 3.0 V6 diesel but that one seems unlikely for the H6. Size: 4635/1820/1680, wheelbase is 2680.

The Greatwall Haval SC60 SUV debuted as a concept at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show. Greatwall has now applied for patent for the Chinese market, rather late indeed. The production version will likely debut at the next Beijing Auto Show in April 2012.

The Greatwall Haval H6 SUV has been delayed for at least a few months. Greatwall said earlier the H6 would be listed on the Chinese market in July. It won’t happen, Greatwall now says production will start in August which means it won’t be at the dealer until early September. Worth the wait? Well, with a new SUV hitting the market every week, why would you?
