HNUSP (Hunan University) L-DDC4 Might Make It

The L-DDC4 is a research project from students and scientist from Hunan University backed by an spin-off automotive research company called HNUSP which stands for Hunan University Science Park. The L-DDC4 debuted on the Beijing Auto Show in April.

It’s weirdness made many think it was just a research project but according to pics and rumors there is much more going on. The pic above shows three cars, L-DDC4 is the red one above, then two new ones; a blue hatch and a gold-colored mini-hatch. Behind the L-DDC4 the incredible L7880 bus.

Beijing Auto Show Live: HNUSP (Hunan University) Zhongqi Concept

Earlier we saw an expirimental car and two expirimental buses from HNUSP, which stands for Hunan University Science Park. The experimental car was born as a research project from students and scientist from the university. The buses and Zhongqi Sedan however, are not.

HNUSP is now a large spin-off automotive research company, although still affiliated with the university. After the bus-madness they decided to go for a ‘normal’ sedan called Zhongqi. HNUSP brought two cars; a black machine with an SAIC 1.8T and a blue hybrid.

The L-DDC4 is a research project from students and scientist from Hunan University backed by an spin-off automotive research company called HNUSP which stands for Hunan University Science Park. The L-DCC4 is based on the same principle as HNUSP’s incrdible buses we saw earlier: two wheels on each side of the middle and one wheel in fron and one wheel at the back. Power goes trough the wheels in the middle, steering with the wheels at the front and back.

A very special bus from HNUSP, it has two wheels on each side in the midle and one wheel at the front and one wheel at the back. HNUSP started as a research project by scientist and students from Hunan University and is now a large spin-off automotive research company, although still affiliated with the university. They had a boot inside the exhibition hall as well, more on that later, first this incredible L11680 prototype.
