A pretty bad car crash in China. An orange Jaguar F-Type R supercar slammed into a gray Volkswagen Passat CC in the great city of Zhuhai in Guangdong Province. The accident happened late at night on a junction in the suburbs of town. The front-right side of the Jaguar hit the left-front side of the Volkswagen, causing considerable damage to both vehicles.

Spy Shots of the new Jaguar F-Type Coupe testing in China. The coupe will have its China-debut on the Beijing Auto Show in April and will hit the Chinese auto market soon thereafter. The Jaguar F-Type Convertible was launched in China in November last year.

Jaguar has applied for patent on the Jaguar XFR-S super sedan for the China car market. The XFR-S will have its China-debut on the Beijing Auto Show in April and will be launched on the Chinese auto market in the second half of the year. The Jaguar XF will be made in China by the new Chery-JLR joint venture. Production will start next year. The news is a surprise. Up until now we only knew for sure about production of the Land Rover Evoque, set to start next year as well. The Jaguar XF will be stretched for the Chinese car market, by an estimated 8 to 12 centimeters. Current wheelbase is 2909mm.

The Jaguar C-X17 Concept has turned into gold for the 2013 Guangzhou Auto Show in China. At almost the same time Jaguar unveiled a gray example at the L.A. Auto Show, and we suspect that the original blue car will pop up at the Tokyo Motor Show.
Mr. Gao Bao, president of Land Rover – Jaguar in China, has told Chinese automotive media that the Jaguar C-X17 is indeed based on the same platform as the Range Rover Evoque. He also said that production in England will start in 2015, and that the C-X17 will be manufactured in China as well.
