Landwind is working on large SUV for the Chinese auto market

This is the first rendering of a new large SUV from Landwind. Code name is E32, it will be launched on the Chinese auto market in 2014. The E32 will be positioned above the new Landwind X5 SUV that was launched earlier this month. The 180hp 2.0 turbo that powers the X5 will likely be the base engine for the Landwind E32. Via: 163.

The new Landwind X5 SUV has been launched on the China car market. Price starts at 99.800 yuan and ends at 115.800 yuan. Power comes from a Mitsubishi-sourced 2.0 turbo with 180hp and 250nm, mated to a 6-speed automatic. The production version of the Landwind X5 debuted in December on the Guangzhou Auto Show as this X5 is by far the best looking Landwind ever.

This is the new Landwind X5 SUV, it will debut tomorrow on the Guangzhou Auto Show but we got it today. The Landwind X5, formerly known as the Landwind E13, is a medium sized SUV tasked with taking the Landwind-brand out of the countryside and into the cities.

Landwind X8 SUV gets a 2.0 turbo diesel in China

The Landwind X8 SUV is from now on available with a new 2.0 turbo diesel. The new engine poops out 120hp and 280nm. Price starts at 122.800 yuan and ends at 149.800 yuan. The 2.0 turbo diesel is an addition to the existing 2.5 turbo with 140hp and 340nm, priced between 130.300 yuan and 169.800 yuan.

New spy shots from the Landwind E31 SUV. The E31 (code name) is a new ‘city SUV’ that will likely debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in December. Landwind is a brand-name from Jiangling Motor Corporation. JMC is very good in making cheap SUV’s and pickup trucks for the countryside, the E31 however has to bring the Landwind brand within city walls.
