Spy Shots: facelifted MG3 testing in the UK

The facelifted MG3 hatchback has been spied testing in the United Kingdom. Facelift consists of some small changed up front, lights are new, grill seems smaller and the gaping hole onder the bumper has been redesigned. The facelifted MG is expected to debut in China on the April 2013 Shanghai Auto Show.

Chengdu Auto Show 2011: MG3 Xross

The MG3 Xross is another new cross-vehicle at the Chengdu Auto Show and again with something funny in the name. Until now we always assumed it would be called ‘XCross’ but instead it is ‘Xross’, the C has gone missing. New name kinda weird, would sound like ksross. MG probably thinks Xross is very cool. Well, the vehicle itself loox cool indeed with huge pieces of grey plastic, black plastic, in bright orange and a massive roof rack to transport the cow you killed while camping in the wild.
MG3 XCross to debut at Chengdu Auto Show

The MG3 XCross will debut at the Chengdu Auto Show in September. Power will come from a 1.5 with 88hp and 117nm, the same output as in the normal 1.8 MG3. Price: 91.700 yuan for the manual and 103.700 for the automatic. Via: Sohu.com.

The very first MG3 hatchback I’ve seen in the wild. It was parked near one of my favorite restaurants in Beijing not far from the CarNewsChina head office skyscrapers. The 3 loox much bigger in the flesh than on pictures, more Golf-size than Polo.

The best spy shots so far of the MG3 XCross, based on the MG3. The vehicle will be listed soon. It got a lot of extra chrome, roofrails, black plastic and even more chrome. Job well done, this is how a Chinese cross vehicle should look like. Price for the XCross starts at 91.700 yuan and ends at 103.700 yuan.
MG3 Listed & Priced in China

The new MG3 hatchback is offcially listed and priced in China. Price starts at 69.700 yuan and ends at 103.700 yuan. Engines: 1.3 with 88hp and 117nm and a 1.5 with 109hp and 139nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed “e-Shift” automatic.
MG celebrated the listing with a party in Shanghai. The MG3 is cool and urban so the company hired a bunch of cool urban people to dance around three 3′s on a podium. Very cool indeed, fortunately there were some beautifull women as well:

MG will fianlly bring the long awaited MG3 to the Chinese autro market, the compact hatchback will be listed on March 26. Price starts around 70.000 yuan and ends around 100.000 yuan. Engines: 1.3 with 68kw and a 1.5 with 80kw. MG will focus mareking on young city folks, 18 to 28 years, with a campain build around the slogan ‘Zero Limits’. Sounds very cool indeed and it is harking back to the orginal MG3 concept which was called MG Zero.
MG3 to be Listed this Month

The new MG3 debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show in December 2010. It will be listed near the end of this month. Engines: 1.3 with 68kw and a 1.5 with 80kw. Transmission: 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic. Price to start around 70.000 yuan. MG will offer many oppertunities to personalise the ’3′, including a big British flag on the roof as seen on pic. We like.
Spy Shot: MG3 Cross

Earlier we saw the patent-drawings and now we got the first real pic from the upcoming MG3 Cross. It will stand a little higher on its feet, get more plastic around the bumpers, some roofrails and job done. Engines will be the same, no 4×4, its all fashion but it will sell. Expected to hit the market in the second half of this year.
