A racy red Nanjing NJ6400 Encore hatchback, Spotted in China in the Dongba area in the far eastern suburbs of Beijing. The old Encore was in a very good shape, with a smooth looking body and shiny paint, original six-spoke sporty wheels, original roof rack, the full original body kit, and the optional darkened windows.

Here we have a fine old truck! This is the Nanjing Yuejin NJ31, made from the 1985 until 1996. The Yuejin NJ131 was the successor of the Nanjing NJ130 (without ‘Yuejin’) which was based on the good old Beijing BJ130. Yuejin is a sub-brand of Nanjing Automobile making commercial vehicles like light trucks and vans. The brand still exists today as part of Naveco, the Nanjing-Iveco joint venture that also makes Iveco vans for the Chinese market. Nanjing Automobile became part of SAIC in 2007.

Another fine catch today in Beijing. This is the Nanjing NJ6400 Encore. The NJ6400 was basically a rebadged and slightly reworked Mk1 Seat Ibiza. Nanjing Yuejin Automobile bought the production line from Seat in 1997, shipped everything to China and restarted production at the Nanjing-Soyat subsidiary.
