New spy shots of the Chery-Quantum Qoros sedan show work goes very fast and so it has to be because the Qoros is expected to debut at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show. Power will come from a Chery-sourced 1.6 turbo mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed DCT. Size is about 4.6 meter, wheelbase about 2.7 meter. Price is expected to start around 140.000 yuan. More and more we get to see about the first Chery-Quantum Qoros. Front loox rather sharp with triple headlights and a bunch of small spoilers under the bumper. The Qoros will debut at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show and it will be listed on Chinese car market that same year.

Qoros organizes a little event for the press on Tuesday in Shanghai. They showed an updated version of the hilarious cow-car that debuted in December last year. The black paint has gone but otherwise it seems the same vehicle for 99%.

In late november Qoros showed a design-study that looked like a very ugly cow. The real thing however seems to look a whole lot better, in a sportback-kinda way.

Chery Quantum, a joint venture between Chery Auto from China and Quantum LLC from Israel, unveiled its new brand, Qoros – Q for quality and ‘oros’ mimicking the sound of the word chorus. The first compact sedan car, whose sculpted image was presented, will hit the European and Chinese markets by late 2013, the company said.

Qoros is a new Chinese car brand. It is a joint venture between Chery Automotive and Quantum LLC from Israel. The joint venture was approved way back in 2007 but things slowed down soon after that. Now they are back, with a very first concept car that loox like a cow.
