The Volvo S90 L has been unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show in China. The S90 L is the long-wheelbase variant of the Volvo S90 sedan. The S90 L is manufactured in the city of Daqing in northeastern China. It will launch on the Chinese car market this month. Export to the United States and Europe will start in the second half of 2017.
Wheelbase of the S90 L has been extended with 12 centimeters compared to the standard S90. All the extra space goes to the passengers in the rear. In China the S90 L competes with other locally made long-wheelbase cars such as the Audi A6L, the BMW 5Li, the Jaguar XFL, and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class L. But Volvo has something that none of the others has: a three-seater.

The new Volvo S90 Long-wheelbase has debuted in China, it will be launched on the Chinese auto market on December 15. Public debut is scheduled for 19 November on the Guangzhou Auto Show. First a bit fuss about the name: it is not called the S90L, like the S80L, or the S60L, or the Audi A6L, or Mecedes C-Class L, or Jaguar XF-L, or you name it L. Instead, it is called S90 Long-wheelbase (S90 长轴距). On earlier py shots we clearly saw a S90L badge, but the L has been dropped.

A very Swedish Volvo S90 sedan, Spotted in China near a car repair shop in north Beijing. The old S was in a very good shape, with paint as smooth as silk, chrome shiny as the sun, completely original and without any obvious damage or rust.

Our favorite toy has finally become real; the Volvo S90 sedan has been unveiled in Sweden. Public debut will happen on the Detroit Auto Show in January and it will come to China for the Beijing Auto Show in April. The Volvo S90, seen here in Liquid Blue, has become quite a beautiful sled, looking very ready to compete with fine cars such as the Audi A6, BMW 5, and the Mercedes-Benz E.
