This is the Venucia V Online DD-i Super Hybrid SUV. Four models were launched with a price range of 118,900 – 149,900 yuan (16,400 – 20,700 USD). Venucia is a sub-brand under Dongfeng-Nissan, a joint venture that makes various Nissan-branded cars for the Chinese market.
As Dongfeng-Nissan JV’s first plug-in hybrid new energy vehicle, the Venucia V Online DD-i is the first product under the DD-i super hybrid technology.
Power comes from a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5T four-cylinder engine and an electric motor. The engine outputs 163 hp and 230 Nm while the motor outputs 204 hp and 320 Nm. Two ternary lithium battery pack options are offered with a capacity of 10.3 kWh and 18.4 kWh, which correspond to a pure electric cruising range (NEDC) of 60 km and 110 km, respectively. The comprehensive cruising range can reach 1,132 km under full charge and a full tank. Its 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time is 7.8 seconds.
Positioned as a compact SUV, the dimensions of the car are 4607/1917/1629mm, and the wheelbase is 2700mm. Notable design elements include the inclined D-pillar and a suspended roof effect. Additionally, it runs on 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels.
The front face has a large polygonal grille with a Venucia V-shaped interior.
At the rear, the through-type taillight runs across and extends downward on both sides. The top has a large spoiler and a V-shaped brake light. The PHEV logo is displayed on the lower left.
Coming to the interior, the forest green is refreshing. The dual 12.3-inch screens are the instrument panel and central control screen. The three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel adopts a flat top and bottom design.
Other configurations include four airbags, a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry, keyless start, remote start, wireless charging, and an 8-speaker audio system.
The trunk has a maximum storage volume of 1520L. The seats are wrapped in leather and the front seats can be electronically adjusted.
