Lincoln arrives in China for the Chengdu Motor Show

That is, very fast. Ford announced only two days ago that the Lincoln brand would come to China in 2014. Today we see the first pics of three Lincolns arriving at the exhibition hall for the Chengdu Auto Show that starts tomorrow. It seems Ford is going to start building some brand, Lincoln is not very well known in China and when it wants to battle the Germans it needs recognition. Two years to go…
Lincoln MKX up front, then a MKT, behind that one seems to be the new MKZ. When Lincoln comes to China in 2014 the SUV’s will likely come first, the Chinese car market is still very hungry for big and bad. The sedans will only work if they can be produced locally, otherwise they will be too expensive compared with the German competition.
