Here we have a low-riding W220 Mercedes-Benz S-class, seen on the China International Auto Parts Expo (CIAPE) in Beijing. Suspension has been lowered almost up to the ground, and this fantastic S is further sexes up with a body kit, gigantic 20-inch low profile tires, black alloys with silver rims and shiny black paint.

Note ‘W220’ license plate! The W220 s-class was made from 1998 until 2005, it was the first S-class that was officially exported to China. I couldn’t find out for sure what sat under the bonnet but a bystander, who wasn’t the owner but seemed to know the vehicle, said it was an S600, which in base form was powered by a 493hp 5.5 liter V12 engine.

Yellow fog lights in bumper distract too much from overall from blackness. We haven’t seen that many pretty W220’s in China yet, the only one so far was a matte-black S500, in Beijing as well. May there be more soon…
