New spy shots from the upcoming Chang’an Ouliwei in China. The Ouliwei, formerly known by its codename ‘F101‘, is a new mini MPV that will be launched on the Chinese auto market next year. Price is expected to start around 50.000 yuan and end around 70.000 yuan.
Most expensive version on the left, cheapie on the right. The Ouliwei is the smallest vehicle of the new and much improved Chang’an line-up, after the Chang’an CS35 SUV, the Chang’an Eado sedan and upcoming Eado XT hatchback. The Ouliwei might make it to Europe to compete with other cheap brands such as Dacia. The Ouliwei will be powered by a 1.3 with 94hp and 121nm, mated to a 5-speed manual. Size: 3700/1680/1550, wheelbase is 2450.

Captain Kirk lost his van. Lose the logo, please.
Not bad for a mini MPV though. But that logo has got to go (and I thought the upside down Acura logo was bad enough).
Will this original Chana logo survive or will it give way to the arrowhead, the stylized skinny “V”, or perhaps the Wall Street bull?
Stay tuned while the real brand identity unfolds…..
It seems Chang’an doesn’t know yet either. On the first pics we saw the Ouliwei had the bull logo on the grille…
