The JAC Heyue iEV4 has been launched on the China car market. The iEV4 is a small full-electric sedan. Price without subsidies is 169.800 yuan or 27.600 USD. State and local subsidies however bring price down to only 99.800 yuan or 16.200 yuan. Initially, the Heyue iEV4 will only be available in Shanghai and Anhui Province.
The local Shanghai government adds a free license plate to the state subsidies, and that is worth another 80.000 yuan (eighty thousand); the average price for a new license on the mandated government controlled license plate auction in Shanghai.
The iEV4 is powered by an electric motor with an output of 56hp and 170nm. Juice comes from a lithium iron phosphate battery. Top speed is 95 km/h and range is 160 kilometer. Charging takes 8 hours on 220V or 2.5 hours on a fast-charger.
