The brand new Venucia R30 hatchback debuted on the 2014 Beijing Auto Show, looking a tad too boring in brown. Venucia is a sub-brand of the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture focused on making cheap and cheap-electric cars. The Venucia R30 is based on the Nissan March that is manufactured in China by Dongfeng-Nissan.

The Venucia R30 got a new nose, new rear lights, new alloys, and new badges, and a new car was born.

The Dongfeng-Nissan March. Price starts at 69.900 yuan and ends at 92.900 yuan. Lone engine is a 1.5 liter four-cylinder petrol with 107hp.

Surprisingly, the Venucia R30 will get its own engine; a Nissan ‘HR12DE’ 1.2 liter three-cylinder petrol with 79hp, mated to a five-speed manual. Price of the R30 will start at a super-cheap 50.000 yuan, making it a direct competitor the popular Chery QQ. The R30 will hit the Chinese car market in September.
