Brown is becoming a popular color in China. We are seeing a lot of brown colored cars; in press photos, at dealers, and on the road. All-brown interiors however are still quite rare, but Mercedes is going all the way here, with even the carpets in brown.

The GLC is manufactured by Beijing-Benz, the joint venture that also makes the E-class L, the C-Class L, the GLA, and that used to make the GLK, the predecessor of the GLC.

Price for the GLC will range from around 350.000 yuan to 550.000 yuan. There will be one 2.0 turbocharged engine in three tastes: GLC 200 with 184hp, the GLC 260 with 211hp, and the GLC 300 with 245hp, all mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
