Leaked images of the upcoming Beijing Auto Huansu S3L, it will be launched on the Chinese car market in Q3. The Huansu S3L is a slightly longer and slightly more luxurious variant of the Huansu S3 SUV, fitted with a Lexus-like grille and LED lights.
This is the current Huansu S3. It is very cheap. Price starts at 54.800 and ends at 66.800 yuan. Engines: 113hp 1.5 or a 140hp 1.8. Lone ‘box is a five-speed manual, sending horses to the front wheels.
The extra length is located behind the C-pillar, note longer roof line and longer rear overhang. The extra space will make for more room in the rear compartment.
The S3 seats seven, but with the rear bench up there isn’t any space left for the bags or the legs. The new S3L will have to fix that problem. Engines will be the same as in the S3, and price will start around 65.000 yuan.
The Huansu series is manufactured by Beiqi Yinxiang Automobile, a joint venture between the Beijing Auto (Beiqi) and the Yinxiang Motorcycle Group. Huansu means Magic Speed.
Dash looks more high tech, with a larger touch screen and digital dials. Air vents differ too. Compare.
