General Motors has released official pictures and specifications of the upcoming Chevrolet FNR-X, a new concept car for the Shanghai Auto Show. The FNR-X previews a sporty SUV with a Camaro nose. It will be a plug-in hybrid with four-wheel drive.

Most interestingly, the concept is also equipped with a system that can change the driving mode of the car depending on the mood of the driver. So if the driver comes in and the sensors see he is pissed like hell they can switch on the most racy chassis and engines modes to get him in a better mood.

The eventual production version will be made in China by Shanghai-GM and likely be positioned between the Captiva and the Equinox.

FNR stands for Find New Roads. The meaning of the X is unknown. The FNR name, without the X, was first used for a crazy Chevrolet concept in 2015.
