This is not a 2014 Acura MDX, this instead is a Chinese clone of said Acura. It is called the Jinbei Diazi, and its English name is Tjatse. It is a very good clone, compare with the…

… real 2014 Acura MDX. Check overall shape, side-window line, roof line, roof rails, bonnet shape, headlights, grille, are under the headlights, and bumper shape. Only the pods in the bumper and the lower bumper are a little bit different.

Size wise they are very close:

Tjstse: 4745/1856/1710, and wheelbase is 2730.
MDX: 4953/1960/1715, and wheelbase is 2820.

TheTjatse is powered by a 1.5 turbo with 150hp and 220nm, mated to a six-speed manual sending horses to the front wheels. The 2014 MDX came with a 3.5 V6 with 293hp, mated to a six-speed automatic.

Where they differ most is price. The MDX went for 739.000 to 795.000 yuan ($107.000 – 115.390). The Tjatse starts at 79.800 yuan and ends at 98.800 (11.580 – 14.3400). So for one MDX you can almost buy ten Tjatses. The white Tjstse on the photos was offered at a Jinbei dealer in Beijing for 88.800 yuan.

Jinbei is a brand under Billiance Automotive. They used to make only minivans and other small commercial vehicles, but they have been moving into passenger cars since a few years. The Tjatse their largest and most expensive car so far. Brilliance also has a major car-making joint venture with BMW.

The dashboard is interesting. Jinbei didn’t copy the 2014 (third generation) MDX. Instead, they went for the second generation (2007-2013).

Second generation MDX. Note the overall design, the instrument pod, the middle pod, the air vents, and the buttons on the center stack. The third generation was likely too complex for Jinbei.

There is one big difference though. The MDX has two cup holders like most cars but the Tjatse has three.

The second row with a very flat bench.

There we go again for another round. Check: roof spoiler, roof shape, rear window shape, rear door shape, rear lights shape, chrome strip between the lights-shape, and the bumper shape. Only the windshield wiper and the fog lights in the bumper differ a bit.

Acura MDX.

The Tjatse badge on the back.

Not an Acura MDX, this is the Jinbei Tjatse.
