You might think that this is a flatbed truck loaded with second-generation Smart cars that somehow ended up in China. You are wrong. This indeed is a flatbed truck loaded with Jijie Tule cars, clones of the Smart. There are 14 cars on the truck and at least three are of the special Hello Kitty Edition, with a partially pink roof.
This little wonder is the Jinli Meili 2057, one of the best looking LSEV’s on the the 2017 Jinan EV Show. The cabin has a teardrop shape, with huge windows and duel tone paint. It has sharply shaped lights, big black bumpers, semi-open front wheels, half-covered rear wheels, big mirrors and an even bigger windshield wiper.
This little blue beauty is the Wuzheng Yuyan 1500, a new LSEV that I met on the the 2017 Jinan EV Show. It is a tiny 3-wheelelectricpickup truck with a giant windscreen, a giant windscreen wiper, round lights, and without doors. Interestingly, the blue of the front-wheel arch if of a different kind than the blue of the body.
Jeep has given us the Renegade but that is not really a small car. This little beauty is, and this big big world needs more small small Jeeps. She is called the Fulidai Red Panda, a new LSEV that I met on the the 2017 Jinan EV Show. It is a two-door three-seat hatchback with a Jeep nose and blue lights. It also has white bumpers and wheel arches, sporty wheels, a sun roof, and blue search lights.
This fiery red beauty is the Xinlonghai 2300, an LSEVfiretruck that I met on the the 2017 Jinan EV Show. It was the hottest firetruck on the show and likely the hottest in the world. It has a short bonnet, round blue lights, a Jeep-like shiny grille, a bull bar, red bumpers(!), protruding wheel arches, big round black mirrors on stalks, a giant windshield and wiper, and flashlights on the roof.
This wondrous white little wonder is the Luxing iStar, a new LSEV that I met it on the the 2017 Jinan EV Show. It is obviously not a Mercedes-Benz because the three-pointed star points down instead of up. But the grille and bumper do look very familiar…
This little red firecracker is the Byvin Xiaozhuangyuan, a new LSEV seen on the 2017 Jinan EV Show. It comes with a stumpy nose that has a grille with the lights above it. The bonnet is short with an enormous windscreen with ab even more enormous wiper.
The Volkswagen Up! has been cloned in China. This is the Weikerui V7, a new LSEV seen on the 2017 Jinan EV Show. It has the same shape, the same size, the same proportions, the same lights, bumpers, and even the logo is very close. Compare to…
Here we have another brilliant feat of Chinese automotive engineering, as seen on the on the 2017 Jinan EV Show. This little blue beauty is the Zhongguo Lingshi Xiaoyuan, a new low-speed electric vehicle (LSEV). The front wheels double-function as the front bumper, saving money. It has no doors on the right side, saving even more money. To defend this brilliance the booth was shaped like a fortress, with guns and canons, and staff in camouflage overalls.
This is my new ultimate dream car from China. She is called the Ruijie H6, and I met her on the 2017 Jinan EV Show. She is a four-door double-cab five-seat tricycleLSEVpickup truck, and she looks brilliant: a Ferrari-red over-black paint job, black wheels with a red nut, a shiny bull bar, a shiny grille, red lint on the big black mirrors, a giant windshield wiper, a giant windshield, ….
