Another new electric car for China: this is the Changhe Beidouxing X5E, complete with some blue in the headlights and a blue line around the grille. Blue is the color of green cars in China. The charging cap is handily located in the front fender. The Beidouxing X5E will hit the market sometime in H2.
When Beijing Auto bought Change in 2013 it was widely expected that the old Changhe-Suzuki joint venture would die. But it didn’t. They are still making cars, including the Beidouxing, which is based on the Wagon R+. Changhe will now use that car for a new electric vehicle called the Beidouxing E.
The first spy shots of the all-naked facelifted Suzuki Liana, it will be launched on the Shanghai Auto Show in April and it will be launched on the Chinese car market soon thereafter. The facelift includes new head lights, a new grille, new rear lights and new bumpers. Head lights grew much bigger and now dominate the front of the vehicle. Fog lamps in bumper changed from square to round.

The very first spy shots of the Suzuki Solio testing in China. It is a Japanese-spec test car with the steering wheel on the right. The Suzuki Solio debuted in Japan in 2011, it is an upmarket version of the Suzuki Wagon R. The latter is made in China by the Changhe-Suzuki joint venture, leading to speculations that Suzuki has plans to produce the Solio in China as well. Read more »

The Suzuki Beidouxing X5 has been launched on the China auto market. The Beidouxing X5 is a China-only stretched variant of the good old Suzuki Wagon R+. Price for the Suzuki Beidouxing X5 starts at 53.900 yuan and ends at 55.900 yuan.

Spy shots from the facelifted Suzuki Splash testing in China. Suzuki launched the facelifted Splash last month, it will hit international markets in June. When it will be launched in China is not yet clear.
After being delayed for almost half a year due to the parts-crisis in Japan the new Suzuki Splash has been officially listed on the China car market.
