BMW recently released the first images of the all new 2017 BMW 5-Series. A new Five also means a new long-wheelbase version for the Chinese market, and one example was spied on the road. The BMW 5Li will debut in the first quarter of next year. Wheelbase will be extended by about ten centimeter for more space in the back. The extension can best be seen by following the roof line from the B-pillar to the back. Compare with regular 5:

The very first Spy Shots of the 2017 BMW 5-Series testing in China, showing the grille, headlights, and bumper design. Headlights merge into the grille just like on the 3-Series. The G30 BMW 5 will debut in the fall and launch on international markets in early 2017.

A wondrous white E34 BMW 5-Series sedan, Spotted in China on a car market in east Beijing. The car was in a very good shape, smooth in paint and soft in rubber, no rust or rot in sight and mostly original. It was wearing an M5 badge but it was in fact a 535i with the pre-facelift narrow-grille.

A beautiful BMW 5-Series Li sedan, Spotted in China in a car-dealer area in east Beijing. The good Bimmer is dressed to impress, fitted with an extra racy front bumper, darkened windows, and an eye killing shiny gold wrap. Best of all however is Jesus on the bonnet.

A beautiful BMW 525i sedan, Spotted in China in the remote Dongba area in east Beijing, seen here on a muddy parking lot. The good Bimmer was in very fine shape. The rare ‘Oxford Green Metallic’ paint looked very fresh, chrome shiny, noting broken or missing, and not a spat of rust in sight.

A beautiful black BMW 525i sedan, Spotted in China near the Sanlitun embassy district in Beijing. The good Bimmer was in good shape with fresh looking paint, shiny chrome, all parts attached, and no obvious bruises or rust. The E35 BMW 5-series was manufactured from 1987 until 1996, it was never officially exported to Chia so seeing one on the road is a rare pleasure.

A red hot Hamann Mi5Sion BMW M5 supercar, Spotted in China on the Beijing Tuning Street. The sexy sled is even further sexed up with a shiny red wrap, a black grille, black windows, a black roof, black door handles, black mirrors, and black multispoke alloys with a red rim.

A beautiful BMW M5 super car, Spotted in China in central Beijing. The good Bimmer is painted in M blue and further sexed up with darkened windows and racy multispoke matte gray alloys. It is however the license plate that is most impressive; reading N·M5V00, and that is by far the best license plate we have seen on a BMW M5 in China.

A wondrous white E39 BMW 530, Spotted in China on a car market just outside the north-eastern section of the Fourth Ring Road in Beijing. The beautiful Bimmer was in a very good condition and clearly still used as a daily driver. Paint looked good, no rust in sight, and all parts were firmly in place. It was sure dusty and dirty but so are all cars in the capital.
