The Audi RS5 Cabriolet has been launched on the China car market, priced at 1.28 million yuan or 209.000 USD. Lotta cash, but power!, comes from a 4.2 liter V8 with 450hp and 430nm. The Audi RS5 Coupe is already available. The RS5 Cabriolet is the fastest open-top automobile currently available on the Chinese car market. Mercedes-Benz and BMW don’t offer the open versions of their AMG and M ranges. But if this Audi sells well, they likely will bring ’em in soon…

An Audi RS5 sportsmachine, seen on a busy road in Beijing by reader Laowei, thank you for the picture! The RS5 is made a bit faster by adding two giant mufflers that are so big they almost hit the ground. Must make a hell of a noise. The muffler king is further sexed up by a rather modest body kit and matte gray alloys. Price for the Audi RS5 starts at 1.119 million yuan in China, or 182.000 USD. But 450hp and 430nm! Sadly we only got one pic of the Mufflermaniac, time thus for our Famous A5 Coupe Collection™: matte orange, lowrider, golden grille, matte blue, pink, : matte black and black & white.

Back once more to the Chengdu Auto Show where Audi launched the mighty RS5 Coupe earlier this week, with a very pretty babe in a plastic mini skirt. Audi indeed, knows how to please the crowd, like Kia does not. The RS5 Coupe is new for China and has to compete with successful offerings from AMG and M.

One Audi A5 RS5 has been spied in a parking lot in China, among other dusty Audi’s. The RS5 was likely a test vehicle meaning Audi will bring the sportsmachine to China soon. It will be the first Audi ‘RS’ model for the Chinese market.
