The Hawtai (aka Huatai) B35 SUV debuted as a concept at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show. It came back as a production car to the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show with a new nose and a new name: Baolige. Hawtai did some thinking and came up with a nice English name: Boliger. The Baolige/Boliger will be listed in China in June. No plans for export yet.

The Huatai (aka Hatai) B35 debuted as a semi-concept at the Beijing Auto Show in April. It is back for Guangzhou in its defenite shape and it changed a bit. The grille now got a big an ugly Huatai logo and the front lights got even bigger.

The new Huatai, or Hawtai as they call themselves in English, B35 loox like a Porsche Cayenne with a Bentley grille stamped on it. All together not bad. The B35 comes with a 1.8 turbo sourced from SAIC. Price will start around 160.000 rmb. Come with that to your Bentley or Porsche dealer. Hawtai also has a new English slogan, it reads: “Drive Green. World Innovated. Hawtai Auto.” Catchy.
