Chang’an Automotive has invaded the Frankfurt Auto Show. Weapon is the Eado sedan which is actually the production version of the Chang’an C201 of which we have seen a billion spy shots. A fine looking car it is. Chang’an usually uses the westernized ‘Chana’-name when abroad, for yet unknown reasons it is the Chinese Chang’an in Frankfurt.

The best spy shots so far of the upcoming Chang’an C201 medium sized sedan. Car loox neat and mordern, grille a nice touch. The C201 will likely debut at the Chengdu Auto Show in September and not as we earlier heard on the April 2012 Beijing Auto Show.

New spy shots from the upcoming Chang’an C201 mid-size sedan give the first clue of the grille’s design and it loox fancy indeed. Big air inlets under the bumper seem all very fake. Headlight a bit aggressive, aggressive is good. But will it get the power to match to anger?

No better way to start the day! A very fresh and the very first spy shot of the interior of the upcoming Chang’an C201 sedan. Pic shows some sportieness and two infoscreens, one rather big. Gearbox seems a manual. Chang’an logo at the wheel. Promising, indeed. Via: Autohome.

The Chan’an C201 Mermaid (Meirenyu) debuted as a hybrid concept at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show. One car, with a barely camouflaged C201 nameplate, was seen testing near the factory. The C201 will be Chang’an’s biggest car to date and slot above the CX30.

Chang’an Automobile, which has joint ventures with Ford and Suzuki, will bring the C201 hybrid conceptcar to the Beijing Auto Show. It measures a sleek 4610x1780x1500mm, wheelbase: 2660. Looking at the lines it seems to go the sporty sedan-coupe-kind-of-a-thing way, is has a great roofline and wonderwheels.
