This is the all new Geely Boyue SUV, also known as the Emgrand Boyue, and formerly known as the Emgrand NL-3. For the sake of simplicity we will refer to the vehicle as ‘Boyue’ from now on, until Geely comes up with another name, sub-brand, or brand.

The best Spy Shot so far of the new Geely Emgrand NL-3 for China, showing the new SUV completely naked for the first time. The NL-3 will debut on the Guangzhou Auto Show in November and launch on the Chinese car market in early 2016. The official name will be Geely Emgrand Boyue, but the cars on these new photos got an NL3 badge on the back, in confusing Geely style.

We start the Monday morning with new Spy Shots and a new name: the vehicle presently known as the Geely Emgrand NL-3 will be called Geely Boyue when it hits the market in early 2016. The ‘bo’ (博) in Boyue (博越) is the same bo as in Borui (博瑞), as in Geely Borui. Does that mean Geely intends to launch a new ‘Bo’ range..? Not impossible, this being Geely from Zhejiang.
