Here we have an extremely rare and extremely mad Spyker C8 Laviolette LM85, seen in an underground parking lot in the great city of Shanghai. The C8 Laviolette LM85 was a limited edition based on the base C8 Laviolette, only 24 examples were made from 2008 until 2010.

One friend of one of our friends met a bunch of super cars in an underground parking lot in Beijing. All very fine cars but the best were two Spyker C8 parked opposite each other, one stealthy Spyker C8 Spyder and one extremely rare Spyker C8 Laviolette LM85 in red-over-black (pic). Since Spyker and I were both born in Holland I am always very happy so see a Skyper in town and sure two Spykers really make my day. Maybach 62S on the right.

The Spyker C8 Aileron supercar has been listed on the Chinese auto market. Price starts at a steep 5.08 million yuan. But for that money you get a very beautiful handcrafted sportsmachine from the Netherlands with a screaming Audi V8 with 400hp.

Dutch supercar maker Spyker brought a very special chrome plated C8 Spyder to an ‘imported car show’ in Beijing. The bespoke machine was made for a wealthy Chinese buyer at a cost of 4.8 million yuan. See below for more of this 400hp beauty, including the amazing interior.

TopSpeed reports that Spyker is working on a China-only ‘C8 Spyder GT2’ based on the GT2 race car, to debut in October. Spyker already sells the limited edition LM85, a coupe based on the GT2. But the special isn’t just a LM85 without a roof. Acoording to the report it will also be:
“longer, wider, and more importantly, more comfortable for the driver. Also, like with the Lamborghini model, the future Chinese edition of the C8 Spyder GT2 will feature specific design elements, both inside and out. The engine will also get an upgrade, making it more suitable for day to day driving.”
Topspeed continues the report with the news that Spyker is working on a 4-door coupe to compete with the “Porsche Panamera , Jaguar XF and the cheaper Passat CC”. I am not so sure about that last one, Aston Martin Rapide seems a better choice.
