Volkswagen is working on a China-only luxury sedan based on the platform of the Audi A6L. The vehicle, code named ‘511’, will be manufactured in China. The Audi A6L is a stretched variant of the Audi A6, made locally at the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture in northeastern China. The Volkswagen 511 will be manufactured by Shanghai-Volkswagen, Volkswagen’s second Chinese joint venture.

The new China-only Volkswagen c-class sedan has been seen testing on Chinese roads again. The new sedan is code named ’511 C-NB’. Debut is scheduled for the 2014 Guangzhou Auto Show and it will be launched on the China car market in early 2015.

The very first spy shots of the new China-only Volkswagen c-class sedan testing on Chinese roads. The new sedan will be positioned between the Volkswagen Passat/Magotan and the Volkswagen Phaeton. Code name is ‘511 C-NB’ and it will be based on the MQB platform. The new sedan will be made in China by the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture.

The Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture is working on three new Volkswagen-branded cars for the ever growing Chinese auto market, all will be made in China. The first is a ‘high-end compact’ five-door sedan based on Volkswagen’s MQB modular platform. It is code named ‘A-Plus’ and will be launched in October 2014.
