New mini car from Zotye from China
Published on April 14, 2011 by Tycho de Feyter

Small Chinese automaker Zotye is famous for recycling old Fiats and Daihatsu’s. Mind; Zotye doesn’t steal, Zotye actually pays for the right to copy. A rare thing in China indeed. But this new mini car really loox like something of their own. It’ll be at the Shanghai Auto Show as a concept and no matter how ready it seems, with Zotye it can still take years before it hits the market.

When it arrives it will compete in a already very crowded segment with offerings from all Chinese automakers. Price will start around 60.000 yuan. Engines will be small, 1.0 and 1.3.
