Spy Shots: new Lifan 420 SUV for China
Published on October 29, 2012 by W.E. Ning
Renderings from the new Lifan 420, a crossover-style small SUV that will be launched on the Chinese car market in 2014. The 420 seems to be slightly bigger than the Lifan X60 SUV that was launched in China in May last year.
There is no other information available on the Lifan 420 at the moment. It might very well be the actual successor for the X60 or a separate and more trendy, and thus more expensive, model. Noting about the engine either but Lifan has everything from a 1.1 to a 2.0, albeit not very modern stuff. We’ll keep an eye on developments, first spy shots of the real vehicle will likely hit the interwebs soon…

Would be surprised if it’s more expensive as it looks a bit mousy alongside the bolder looking X60.

Actually it reminds me more of a Fiat.
Modern cars often look similarish, this is no straight copy of anything though.
