New spy shots of the facelifted Kia Forte testing in China, it will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show in April and it will be launched on the Chinese car market soon thereafter. The facelift includes a new grille, new head lights, new rear lights, new bumpers and an updated interior.
The current Kia Forte, made in China by the Dongfeng-Yueda-Kia joint venture. Price starts at 98.800 yuan and ends at 122.800 yuan. Lone engine is a 1.6 with 123hp. The more expensive variants of the Kia Forte with the 2.0 liter engine have been killed to make room for the new Kia K3. The facelifted Kia Forte will continue as a budget alternative but it won’t last much longer than two years.
Grille will be updated to come in line with other new Kia’s.
New rear lights.
Materials a bit better and it seems the test driver wants to hide something new on the dashboard.
