The Volkswagen Golf 7 is made in China by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture. The Golf 7 will also be manufactured in the existing Volkswagen production base city of Changchun, more than 3000 kilometer to the northeast.
The China-made Volkswagen Golf 7 will debut next week on the Guangzhou Auto Show and it will be launched on the China car market in December. The Golf 7 will be available with a 105hp 1.6, a 131hp 1.4 TSI, a 150hp variant of the 1.4 TSI, and with a 220hp 2.0 TSI for the Volkswagen Golf GTI. Price will range from 90.000 to 120.000 yuan.
