Facelifted MG3 launched on the China car market

The facelifted MG3 has been launched on the China car market. Price starts at 69.700 yuan and ends at 97.700 yuan. Biggest changes are up nose with a slightly redesigned grille, a new bumper, and speedy LED fog lights on each side of the bumper. Sporty alloys are new as well.

Dash got new iPod dock and a USB interface but is otherwise unchanged. Engines are unchanged as well: a 1.3 with 92hp and 118nm and a 1.5 with 109hp and 135nm, both mated to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic. MG says the steering system and suspension have been ‘optimized’ in the facelifted car.

This particular car is a UK Impression special edition, which comes with hip ‘UK’ thingies such as UK Impression stickers and a slightly sexed up interior. Customers can also spec a UK flag decal on the roof.
