Spy Shots: Changan CS95 testing in China

The very first spy shots of the production version of the new Changan CS95 SUV testing in China, it will be launched on the China car market in 2015 to compete with cars such as the upcoming Haval H9. The Changan CS95 debuted as a concept on the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show, looking slightly more exciting than the real thing…

The 2013 Changan CS95 Concept. The grille of the production car still looks kinda wild, but otherwise it seems just another big old barge.

There will be three engines available: a 1.8 turbo, a 2.0 turbo, and 3.0 V6. No further details for the moment, but the engines need some strong horses to beat the H8 which comes with a 218hp 2.0 turbo or a 333hp 3.0 V6 turbo. Price for the Changan CS95 will start around 120.000 yuan, making it the most expensive vehicle ever developed by Changan Automotive.
