The very first Spy Shots of the new JAC Refine S7 SUV for China, sporting a large front overhang, big headlights, and tiny tiny wheels. The looks are a disappointment compared to the promising model we saw two years ago. The Refine S7 will be the biggest SUV ever for JAC, it will be positioned above the current JAC Eagle S5. It will be launched on the Chinese car market in Q3.
Large screen in the center stack, huge air vents, analogue dials, and a rather simple steering wheel.
The Refine S7 will be powered by turbocharged 1.5 and 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol engines, mated to a new six-speed DCT, sending horses to the front wheels.
Boxy design looks a tad too 2012 but will make for a lot of space inside. Taillights are huge again. JAC clearly doesn’t go along with the latest small-lights fashion.
In my opinion this is a mule. The manner in which it has been crudely stretched behind the rear door suggest this is not the definitive bodyshell.
Possibly is just a mule. At least I hope so. This one simply seems to be a long wheel base JAC Rein (2006-2014).
