Suzuki has officially released the first photos and information on the Suzuki Swift 20th Anniversary Edition. It will be launched on China car market late this month, price starts at 72.800 yuan and ends at 82.800 yuan. The Suzuki Swift 20th Anniversary Edition celebrates the 20th birthday of the Chang’an-Suzuki joint venture that started making Suzuki’s in China in June 1993.
The Suzuki Swift 20th Anniversary Edition comes exclusively in a wine red-white color combination which seems to suit the Swift very well. Other special thingies include a chromed exhaust pipe, 20th Anniversary Edition badges on the C-pillar, sporty front seats in wine red and gray, 20th Anniversary Edition badges on the higher-back rest of mentioned sporty seats, and sporty pedals.
The latter can not be seen on this particular photo. A 20th Anniversary Edition badge can just be seen on the higher-back rest of the driver’s seat. The Suzuki Swift 20th Anniversary Edition is powered by a 103hp 1.5 liter engine, mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic.
Isn’t this fake Mini fad over yet?
I had a MINI and I now have Swift. The swift is much more convenient with back doors and enough leg room. It is a much cheaper car but it drives raelly well for how cheap it is. I am amazed how well it handles almos every day that I drive it. It has a short hood and similar size to a MINI. It ends there.
I saw someone with a Mini badge and Cooper on the back of a Swift a few weeks ago but they had left the Suzuki ‘S’ on the front!
Just purchased the Swift 20th anniversary, excellent car will recommend to first time buyers, The only problem is, it came out without electric exterior rear view mirrors.
